COMMUNITY

Besides being a developer I'm also a player, so it happens that I sometime personally look around the Minecraft Community in search of cool ideas or concepts which could be transformed into a Minecraft Mod Feature.

Thankfully some creations can be used freely, such as music and textures, so I did implement those into the project, making them even more playable features.
In particular:

HOW DOES THE COMMUNITY-BASED DEVELOMENT WORK?

Polished Andesite, Diorite and Granite Bricks base textures were made by the team behind Vanilla Tweaks
Music Discs were made by various Minecraft creators (check below)

When the creations are not free-to-use, I contact the authors of those resources and ask for their permission in order to create new mod features with their ideas and works.

I also take into serious consideration suggestions and ideas from you, potential players of this project!

Glowing obsidian

With Details Update Mod installed, you can find around the Nether some clusters of Glowing Red Obsidian. This block's textures were first made by blank3times for their "Crying Obsidian to Modernized Glowing Obsidian" resource pack.

Sand and gravel paths

With the Mod installed players can creat Pathways similar to the Minecraft Vanilla ones but with Sand, Red Sand and Gravel. The texture for these blocks were originally made by manuxxvi for their "Unstable Blocks" resource pack.

Swamps and Rivers have been improved thanks to Vesper321's Cattails textures! These textures were originally made for the "FireFlyTails" resource pack.

SPOOKY WEEPING WILLOW

Long time ago I found a Resource Pack named "Spooky Spruce", made by Iciclin. They allowed me to create an entire set based off their textures. As now I lost contact with them, I decided to bring up some changes to this feature.
In fact from a simple "Spooky Wood" set, it is now a "Spooky Weeping Willow" and over the new versions (1.4 and 1.5), it will receive a complete texture makeover that will tweak the palettes and designs while mantaining the original touch.
I don't currently have Iciclin's public contacts.

MUSIC DISCS

Each track present in the Details Update Mod project could be used according to their authors' policies. Furthermore, this is not a commercial project and tracks are going to be only used as Music Discs, as part of loot in dungeons or special challenges.

STEELMAN - FAR LANDS

Steelman created this track to resemble the essence of the original C418's music discs. The dreamy melody and very relaxing pace makes this the perfect soundtrack for a legendary exploration discovery at the limits of the world!

Because of this, with Details Update Mod a player can find this very Music Disc once they travel around 10.000 blocks!

HESTIACD - MECHYL

HestiaCD's Mechyl brings back the vibes of the very first attempt to build something with redstone, and this is why I chose this to be the music for the 1.3 update! The puzzling and charming vibes interact very well with the creations made out of copper and iron.

This Music Disc can only be found in Strongholds' libraries.

T_EN_M - ALIVE

T_en_M is famous for his awesome custom Music Discs and thankfully they gave creators the possibility to use their music into Minecraft related projects,
(as directly stated on T_en_M 's discord server).

Alive is the perfect soundtrack for version 1.4, as it brings up natural and "alive" vibes to the game while tons of new blocks get added and biomes get overhauled!

A player can find this very Music Disc in Oak Trees' leaves!
